ABOUT COMPUSEL

“Computational Thinking in Enhancing Primary Students’ Social and Emotional Learning Skills” is framed at KA220 School Education – Collaboration Partnerships. The project is planned to last 30 months period with content development, transnational meetings, multiplier events, and other dissemination activities. COMPUSEL will design a new and state-of-the-art curriculum for improving social and emotional learning skills through computational thinking, develop digital stories, address the integration of these skills, and prepare a guidebook for primary school teachers.

No wind to fill your sails,” he’d say, “doesn’t mean your ship is sinking.
It just means you’re sitting still, the perfect time to self-reflect.
Do you only see what’s wrong because it’s not what you expect?
If so, open your eyes wide and find the brighter side of things.
Get in touch with all the joy and comfort that it brings.
You’d be surprised at how things change when you just let your worries go. It’s where you place your focus that will proceed to grow.”

OUR GOALS

Computational Thinking

CT involves a set of skills where students can leverage to tackle hard problems of all kinds. These skills are named decomposition, abstraction, pattern recognition and algorithmic thinking.

Social & Emotional Learning

SEL is the ability to be aware of one's own emotions, manage them, solve problems, build relationships and empathize, and it is crucial in students' ability to function in school settings as well as in real life.

Social Inclusion & Participation

Compusel aims to create the means for a holistic future that becomes more accessible to all students and strives to ensure no student falls behind or becomes excluded.
